Refund Policy

We want every client to be satisfied with our work. This policy explains exactly when a refund is available, how it is calculated, and how to request one. We aim to process every legitimate refund within seven (7) business days.

Effective date: 2026-05-21.

1. Our refund principle

You should not pay for work that has not been done or for work that does not meet what we agreed. We will not, however, refund time and resources we have already invested in your project in good faith. The sections below set out how that principle applies to each type of service.

2. Before any work has started

If you cancel an engagement before we have started any work on it — typically within seventy-two (72) hours of payment — you receive a 100% refund, less any non-refundable third-party fees we have already incurred on your behalf (for example, paid directories, premium press-release submissions, ad-platform credits that have already been spent). We will itemize any deductions.

3. Monthly SEO and digital-marketing retainers

  • Retainers are billed in advance for the calendar month.
  • Cancel within the first seven (7) days of the month and you receive a refund for the unused days on a daily-prorated basis, less any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred.
  • After day seven, retainer fees are non-refundable for that month because the bulk of monthly work — content drafting, link prospecting, technical audits — happens early in the cycle. We will continue to deliver the contracted scope through the end of the month.
  • Future months are cancelled with no further charge.

4. Backlink packages and one-off SEO products

  • Free trial packages (the 40-link sampler, etc.) — no refund applies because no fee was charged.
  • Standard packages that have not yet been started — full refund within forty-eight (48) hours of order, less any non-refundable third-party submission fees.
  • Started packages — partial refund based on links not yet placed. Because backlink work is sequential and labour-intensive at the start, refunds after work begins are typically limited to 30–50% of the package price.
  • Completed packages — no refund. We instead offer free replacement of any link that drops within ninety (90) days of delivery, provided the drop is not caused by the destination site removing it for reasons outside our control (Google penalty on the destination, manual editorial removal, paywall changes).

5. WordPress and e-commerce development projects

  • Milestone-based. Each milestone is invoiced when delivered for client review.
  • Refunds are calculated by milestone: completed and accepted milestones are non-refundable; the current in-progress milestone is prorated based on hours logged at the contracted hourly rate.
  • If you cancel a project mid-milestone and the work delivered does not match the agreed specification, we revise it at no extra cost before any refund discussion.

6. Subscriptions for tools and ongoing services

  • Cancel any time. Cancellation stops future billing; you retain access through the end of the current paid period.
  • Pro-rated refunds for the current period are not provided unless legally required.

7. Shop products (digital goods)

Items in our /shop (backlink-package SKUs, mass-pages bundles, press-release distribution, etc.) are digital goods. Under Thai consumer law and our policy, digital goods are refundable only before delivery has commenced. Once we have submitted your URL to any third-party platform, work is considered started.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at service@backlinkhut.com or via WhatsApp. We resolve the vast majority of billing questions within one business day. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without contacting us first may delay resolution and, if the chargeback is reversed in our favour, may incur additional administrative costs that we may pass on to you.

9. How to request a refund

Send an email to service@backlinkhut.com with: your name, the invoice number, the date of the payment, a brief explanation, and your preferred refund channel. We acknowledge within one (1) business day and process within seven (7) business days where the refund is undisputed.

10. Refund channel

Refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever technically possible. Bank-transfer refunds for international payments may take seven to fourteen (7–14) business days to appear in your account depending on your bank.

11. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Thailand's Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) or any other applicable consumer-protection law.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a refund on my monthly retainer?

Within the first 7 days of a billing cycle: 75% refund. After 7 days: that month is non-refundable but you can cancel future months with 7 days notice.

What if you fail to deliver a project on time?

Full refund of milestone payments for any unfinished scope, plus prorated refund of completed-but-not-on-time work depending on circumstances. We discuss case-by-case.

What about backlink purchases?

Each shop product has a stated delivery window. If we miss that window: full refund. If you cancel mid-delivery: prorated refund for what has not been delivered yet.

How long do refunds take to process?

Stripe/Omise: 3-5 business days. Bank transfers: 5-10 business days. We initiate refunds within 7 business days of approval.
