Backlink Hut started in 2021 in a one-room office in Pattaya, with a simple bet: that manual link building, done well, would outlast every black-hat shortcut on the market. Five years and 200,000+ links later, we still believe it.
Why we started
Litesh Dhir spent the early 2010s building digital marketing campaigns for small businesses across India. Two patterns kept showing up. First, every SEO problem eventually came back to backlinks. Second, the cheap-backlinks market was a graveyard, clients would buy 10,000 links for $50, see a bump for two weeks, and then watch their entire site disappear when Google’s next spam update landed.
The fix was obvious but boring: manual outreach. Real publishers. Real editorial relationships. The work that nobody wanted to do at scale because it was slow.
So we built the team to do exactly that. Headquartered in Pattaya, with content writers, outreach specialists, and an in-house developer who builds the tools we need. Today we serve clients across 30+ countries, but the rule from day one has not changed: every link goes through a real editor on a real site.
What we believe
- Manual outreach beats automation. AI-generated outreach gets caught, ignored, or marked as spam. Real emails from real people still work.
- Transparency is a competitive advantage. We share prospect lists before outreach, every link before it goes live, and the methodology behind every recommendation. If you don’t understand what we did, we did not explain it well enough.
- SEO is a compound game. The wins look small month over month. The trajectory looks dramatic year over year. We design campaigns for the second graph, not the first.
- AI search rewards good SEO. The sites cited in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews are the same sites that did honest SEO well. AI didn’t break SEO. It raised the floor.

- Litesh — Founder & Website Planner. Started in digital marketing in 2010, founded Backlink Hut in 2021 after seeing how much damage cheap-backlinks services were doing to legitimate businesses. Owns site architecture, the rebuild roadmap, and client direction. @backlinkh on X.
- Sahil — SEO Planner. Builds the campaign strategy for every client — keyword research, prospect lists, link-architecture maps, monthly priorities.
- Sanjeev. Developer. Owns the WordPress + plugin code, server configuration, performance work, and any custom tools we ship.
- Anshika — Content Planner. Briefs, outlines, and ghost-mode editing across every page and blog post we ship.
- Priya — Quality Analyst. Final pass on every deliverable, checklist compliance, plagiarism + AI-detection gates, schema validation, link verification before anything goes live.
Plus a network of contributing writers and outreach specialists across Thailand, India, and the Philippines.

Why Pattaya? Practical reasons: a strong English-speaking expat business community for testing client work, a working-day overlap with most of Asia and Europe, and lower cost-per-hire than Bangkok (which keeps our pricing realistic for small businesses). Plus the obvious one: the team likes living here.
