Privacy policy — what we collect, why, and your rights
This privacy policy explains what personal data Backlink Hut Co., Ltd. (registered in Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand) collects when you use backlinkhut.com or buy our services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA, B.E. 2562) and the EU GDPR. We rewrite it whenever something material changes — last reviewed 7 May 2026.
Who we are
Backlink Hut Co., Ltd., 49/41 Phatthaya Tai 12 Alley, Bang Lamung, Chonburi 20150, Thailand. Data controller for everything you submit to us. Reach the data team via the contact form or contact@backlinkhut.com.
What we collect
- Identifiers you give us. Name, email, phone, business name, target URL, billing address. Collected when you fill a form, place an order, or chat with us on WhatsApp / LINE.
- Order data — services purchased, amounts, payment status. Stored on our WooCommerce database in Thailand. Card details we never see. Stripe / Omise / 2C2P handle them.
- Server logs — IP, browser, referrer, pages visited. Kept 30 days for fraud prevention, then purged.
- Cookies and analytics — Google Analytics 4 if you accept cookies, plus session cookies for cart and login. Full list in the cookie banner.
- Reports we generate for you, backlink reports, ranking data, content drafts. Held while the engagement is active and for 12 months after for support follow-ups.
How we use your data
To deliver the service you bought, send invoices and reports, respond to support, send relevant marketing only if you opted in, and meet Thai and international tax law. We do not sell your data and never have.
Who we share with
- Payment processors — Stripe, Omise, 2C2P, KBank Payment Gateway, depending on what you used.
- Hosting and infrastructure, our servers and CDN; data stays in Singapore / Thailand region unless you specifically request otherwise.
- Marketing partners (only with consent), Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LINE Ads. Pseudonymous events for conversion tracking.
- Legal disclosures. Thai courts, tax authorities, law enforcement on valid order only.
Your rights under PDPA + GDPR
You can ask us to confirm what we hold, hand it over in a portable format, correct anything wrong, delete data we no longer need, restrict processing, or withdraw consent for marketing. Email contact@backlinkhut.com with your request and we reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the PDPC of Thailand or your country’s data authority if you think we got something wrong.
Cookies
The cookie banner gives you granular control — Analytics, Advertising, Functional. You can change consent anytime via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. We follow IAB Europe TCF v2.2 signals where they apply.
