Manual Link Building Service
Link building is the part of SEO that scares people most. Black-hat services collapse, careful agencies are slow, and figuring out the difference is hard — usually until your rankings already tanked. Here is how we approach it, and why we share the prospect list with you before we send a single email.
Why most “cheap backlinks” services fail
The “10,000 backlinks for $5” model collapsed years ago. Those services run on private blog networks (PBNs) and link farms — sites built for the sole purpose of selling links. Google’s SpamBrain system, updated continuously since 2022, can identify these patterns at scale. Google reported a sharp rise in spam-link detection in late 2024, with entire networks de-indexed in single algorithmic passes.
The links you bought become invisible. The rankings they propped up disappear. Recovery — if it happens — takes six to twelve months of disavow work and clean rebuilds.
Manual outreach costs ten to fifty times more per link, but every placement comes from a real editorial relationship. That’s the part that survives algorithm updates.
How we build links manually — the full five-step process
- Prospect. We pull a fresh list of relevant publishers in your niche, filtered by Domain Rating, organic traffic, topical relevance, and outbound link patterns. No PBN sites, no expired domains.
- Vet and share. You see the prospect list before any outreach. Reject anyone you don’t want to be associated with. We never pitch sites without your green light.
- Outreach. Personalised emails to each editor. Real names, real context, real value offered (typically a guest post, niche edit, or contributor piece).
- Custom content. Each placement gets unique content written for the host site’s audience. No spun text, no AI-mass-generation, no template-and-swap.
- Placement and proof. Once live, you get the URL, anchor text used, host page metrics, and a screenshot for your records.
Link types we deliver
- Tier-1 niche edits — links inserted into existing high-authority articles. Strongest single placement type.
- Guest posts — full original articles published on relevant sites, with one or two contextual links back to you.
- Tier-2 contextual — supporting links to your tier-1 placements (link-juice amplification).
- Web 2.0 properties — branded profiles on Medium, Tumblr, WordPress.com — useful for brand SERP control.
- Forum and profile links — natural anchor diversity for a healthy backlink profile.

Link building FAQ
Are bought backlinks safe in 2026? Manual, editorial backlinks are safe. Algorithmic mass-bought backlinks (PBNs, link farms) are not. The distinction is whether a real editor approved the placement.
How long until backlinks improve rankings? Most clients see ranking movement in 30–60 days. The link itself is indexed by Google in 7–14 days; the ranking effect builds over weeks as Google trusts the new signal.
What’s the difference between tier-1 and tier-2 backlinks? Tier-1 links point directly to your site (highest value). Tier-2 links point to your tier-1 placements (amplifies their power). Both have a place in a healthy campaign.
Will Google penalise me for buying backlinks? Google penalises link schemes — paid links from low-quality, irrelevant sites with no editorial standards. Editorial placements paid for with money or content are evaluated by quality, not transaction.
How many backlinks do I need to rank? Depends on competition. Local-business keywords often rank with 5–20 quality links. Competitive commercial keywords need 50–200+. We model this for your specific keywords during the kickoff call.
What’s your refund policy? If a link does not go live within the agreed timeframe, full refund. If a link goes live and is later removed by the publisher within 30 days, free replacement.
