Tier-1 Backlinks Service

A tier-1 backlink is a contextual link from a high-authority, high-traffic website that points directly to your site. Done right, a single tier-1 link can move rankings more than 50 weak links combined. Here is how we source them and what each placement actually contains.

What makes a backlink “tier-1”

Three things, all required: real Domain Rating (DR 50+ minimum, often 60+), measurable monthly organic traffic to the host site (1,000+ visitors per month from Google), and topical relevance to your industry. A DR 80 site with no organic traffic is a dead network. A DR 30 site with 50,000 monthly visitors and perfect topical fit can outperform a DR 70 placement.

We verify all three for every prospect using Ahrefs and Semrush data, plus manual review of recent post quality. If a site looks like a link farm — generic posts, sudden DR spikes, sketchy outbound link patterns — it does not enter the prospect list.

How we source tier-1 placements

Two formats:

  • Niche edits — your link is inserted into an existing high-traffic article that already ranks. The host page is already indexed, already ranking, already trusted by Google. Adding your link gives you the strongest single signal in link building.
  • Guest posts — we write an original article (relevant to the host site’s audience) and place it with one or two contextual links back to you. Slower than niche edits to negotiate but produces a fresh page that links to you with full editorial context.

Our prospect-vetting workflow finds 30-50 viable hosts per niche per month. You review and approve before any outreach starts. Nothing gets sent to a publisher you have not green-lit.

What you get per placement

Every tier-1 link delivered comes with: live URL, host page DR + DA + monthly organic traffic, anchor text used (we recommend 60% partial-match, 30% branded, 10% generic for tier-1), target page on your site, date placed, and a date-stamped screenshot of the placement. Most clients verify the link in Google Search Console within 7-14 days.

If the publisher removes the link within 30 days for any reason, we replace it free.

Pricing

  • DR 50-60 niche edits — $80-150 per link
  • DR 60-75 niche edits — $150-300 per link
  • DR 75+ niche edits or major guest posts — $300-800 per link
  • Bulk packages — 10-link campaigns from $700, 25-link from $1,500

Tier-1 links are most powerful when amplified by tier-2 supporting links — many clients combine the two for compound effect.

Tier-1 backlinks FAQ

What’s a tier-1 backlink? A contextual link from a high-DR (50+) site with real organic traffic and topical relevance. Strongest single placement type.

How much does a tier-1 backlink cost? $80-800 per link depending on DR, traffic, and niche. Standard market range; below $50 usually means PBN or low-traffic site.

Are niche edits safe? Yes — they are editorial placements on existing real content. Google evaluates them by context and quality, not by whether money changed hands.

Tier-1 vs guest post? Niche edits are faster and use existing ranking pages. Guest posts produce a fresh contextual article. Both are tier-1 quality; we use both depending on availability.
