Short-form video is now the dominant format on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and even LinkedIn. The same 30-second clip — properly cut and branded — can land on three or four platforms with platform-specific tweaks. Here is what we make, what we charge, and the realistic engagement lifts to expect.

Each video comes with platform-specific exports (Reels 9:16, YouTube Shorts 9:16, TikTok 9:16, plus a 1:1 square version for Instagram feed and LinkedIn, and 16:9 horizontal for YouTube long-form thumbnails).

Per-platform specs

  • Instagram Reels — 9:16 vertical, 1080×1920, max 90 seconds. Sweet spot 15-30 seconds. Burned-in captions essential (most viewing is muted).
  • YouTube Shorts — 9:16 vertical, max 60 seconds. Same vertical export as Reels, often re-uploaded with platform-specific text overlays.
  • TikTok — 9:16 vertical, no upper limit but engagement drops sharply after 30 seconds. Authentic / less-polished aesthetic outperforms broadcast-style polish.
  • LinkedIn (video posts) — 1:1 square or 16:9 horizontal, 30-90 seconds. More polished, more text on screen, B2B tone.
  • Facebook Reels — same spec as Instagram Reels. Cross-post from IG.
  • WhatsApp Status — 9:16 vertical, max 30 seconds. Lower-fi acceptable.

Our process

  1. Brief — what message, what platform priority, what call-to-action. We share a template form to capture it.
  2. Storyboard — 4-6 panel storyboard for your approval before production starts. Avoids expensive surprises.
  3. Production — we use stock footage where appropriate, branded motion graphics, voiceover or music as needed. For physical product showcase we may request you ship a sample to film.
  4. Captions and SFX — every video gets burned-in captions (essential for muted-mode viewing) and platform-appropriate sound effects.
  5. Multi-platform export — you get 4-6 format versions of each video.
  6. One round of revisions included — additional rounds at $25/each.
